Phil Helfer

Phil Helfer
What Neil Cole wrote about Phil in Church 3.0:
"Phil Helfer, an original co-founder of CMA, is actually the most radical thinker on our team.  I have learned much from him.  Phil leads Los Altos Grace Brethren Church in Long Beach, a church that is more than fifty years old at a facility that has age-graded Sunday school classes and a preshcool through sixth grade school on campus.  They average between three and four hundred people in attendance weekly.  This does not look of feel at all like an organic church, but it is transfusional. Slowly Phil has been training his leaders to think and respond more organically...This church sent us out to start Awakening Chapels." (Church 3.0; p. 114)  Phil co-authored recently released Church Transfusion.
